Get ready for the most memorable run of your life along one of mankind's greatest monuments – the Great Wall of China. From the 16th to the 22nd of May you can experience the best of Beijing and give yourself a challenge of a lifetime at a very exclusive event by SAS Dreams.

    Run into history

5.164 steps, steep climbs, and sharp declines. As you might imagine, the Great Wall Marathon is unlike any other marathon in the world. The race takes place primarily in the Tianjin Province a few hours outside of Beijing, and winds through beautiful farmland and tiny, traditional villages with few tourists. The actual wall section of the marathon is six kilometers long and gives you the feeling of running thousands of steps into history.

    Choose your distance

Even though it is widely considered one of the toughest foot races in the world, the Great Wall Marathon attracts running and marathon enthusiasts on all levels. The race features three distances: a full marathon, a half marathon and an 8,5 kilometer non-competitive run on the wall. Regardless of which distance you choose, you will be rewarded with spectacular surroundings and views.

    Get a taste of Beijing

In addition to the marathon, this SAS Dreams trip includes tailor-made Beijing experiences for an exclusive group of only 30 guests. The participants can look forward to five days full of activities, attractions, and visits to historical sites in the city of Beijing. Visit royal locations, enjoy the tastes of the local cuisine, shop ‘til you drop or simply marvel at the eye-popping architecture throughout the city.
